The Joint Marijuana Legalization and Slavery Reparations Initiative damn the man

We will not stop until marijuana smokers have the same rights as citizens, and the taxes generated benefit all descendents of the African Slave Trade, period.

Get involved by calling the news media, demanding your lawmakers do what’s right, and telling all your friends. We can’t do this without your help.

Sign Our Petition

If you’ve already read enough and you’re ready to join the fight, please FOLLOW THIS LINK (off-site, opens in a new window,) to sign our petition, which we will submit to every relevant lawmaker to advance these two important co-causes.

  • If you believe it’s time for America to get down to brass and taxes about marijuana, you need to sign our petition,
If you think marijuana possession and use should not be a crime, you need to sign our petition,
  • If think our nation’s African Americans deserve an ounce of repayment for the hundreds of years of unparalleled subjugation in slavery, you need to sign our petition,
  • If you want to take money out of the hands of criminals, and put it in the hands of small business owners and the local, state and federal tax base, you need to sign our petition,
  • If you want to buy the highest-grade marijuana without fear of arrest, robbery or social castigation, you need to sign our petition,
  • If you think smoking a joint should be no more illegal than having a glass of wine with dinner, you need to sign our petition,
  • If you believe that violent crimes are not committed by casual users of marijuana, you need to sign our petition,
  • If you know that nobody overdoses on marijuana, and stoners never commit violent crimes, you need to sign our petition,
  • If you believe that life in the inner city brings up children without a fair opportunity to succeed, you need to sign our petition,
  • If you believe the price of marijuana should be lesser, the quality should be greater, and the money that currently goes to drug lords should go towards the tax base to fund vital programs that can’t yet exist for financial reasons, you need to sign our petition.
  • If you think we should free up the police, jails, prisons and courts to pursue REAL criminals instead of some guy pulled over with a dime bag in his pocket for his enjoyment, you need to sign our petition.

And once you’ve signed our petition, you need to take the next step and tell all of your friends to sign it too. Signing it will not label you as a drug user, but as a believer in civil rights, regardless of whether or not you wish to personally use it yourself.

I don’t go to tribal casinos, myself, but I firmly believe in the rights of tribal nations to have them, and the rights of all American citizens to responsibly go to them. We have permitted the expansion of gambling rights, so why can’t we just admit that the tens of millions of Americans who casually use marijuana are regular citizens, and not criminals?

And in the nature of being fair, even though it’s against my own personal wishes, if you want to sign a petition to forbid the legalization of marijuana, and forbid the taxation of it being given to Americans as reparation for the hardships their peoples have faced, you can GO HERE TO SIGN that petition.
